SCD Websites

  • scdadventures.blogspot.com ABOUT THE AUTHOR (JILLUCK)The Adventure Begins.... I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in August of 2006. I began following the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD) after five operations/procedures and being hospitalized for about 30 days straight. This site was created to document my day to day experiences managing Crohn's disease with the help of the SCD. Though one of my favorite past times is watching cooking shows and adapting recipes to be SCD compliant, I am by no stretch of the imagination a culinary talent. I work and commute over 50 hours a week so the time that I spend in the kitchen is minimal. As such, at times you will witness that my lunch is an apple or my dinner is actually breakfast. But these are my adventures in the SCD. Enjoy
